we stared at them pairing off across the silvercity landing
alien versus predator let us down,
but the scene before us was more than worth the 11.50
we had wasted
laughs and giggles came from a group of girls,
throwing glances and looks the way of our friend.
they hated each other, and we knew it.
the girls turned to leave
suddenly offset by the subtle intentions
that slowly started to fill the air.
the burn
quickened their pace
coming from his eyes
straight into the back of their skulls

Replace Josh Wolfe with a few rounds of Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 and this is a prime example of my Friday. With nothing planned and everything to do, I feel contented to do nothing, feeling guilty and anxious when the day has flown to the bone pile. Well, I guess there’s still a few hours left. I’d like to call her. Small victories.

Ever feel out of place? and not just highschool, im talking like everywhere. Yesterday, i’m walking around with crowds of people, all seemingly obsessed with fashion, clothes, outward shows of how cool they are and why you should ‘accept’ (sex) them. judgment is what it’s about, which is why us nerds and weirdos who don’t devote themselves to proving how cool they are to others will feel that way when we’re in that scene.

no expression of truth, no humor. just need for attention or concerted efforts to fool somebody. which is the opposite of the point, I think. art and expression should stick its hand into the depths of truth and human experience and pull up something to bridge the mental gap between us and it.

going off in a different direction, you’d figure that if their “teenage expression” was inscrutable enough, no one could tell them it wasn’t good, because then, they could just say “you just don’t get it.” maybe that’s true. but if you failed to communicate, whether it’s an idea, a feeling, a vibe, then you messed up somewhere. It’s the difference between creating something full of beauty and truth and letting it gush out into the world, and just jerkin’ off.

The rumble of the untamed and feral thunder reverberated across the edge of the cliffs where they stood. A subtle whisper responded from the clouds, it’s voice swelling as the rains swept across the escarpment, hortatory glass covering their foreheads.
